WHAT TO BUY BEFORE PUPPY COMES HOME:

• Water bowl try to buy a large heavy one, so it cant be picked up and carried around. I recommend either a ceramic crock (approximate cost $7.50) or polystyrene crocks, which is unbreakable (approximate cost $3.50)
• Food bowl I recommend stainless steel, it is virtually indestructible! Size 1 pint. (approximate cost $2.50)
• Pro Plan Puppy Food
• Eucanuba puppy biscuits, for treats.
• Dog Crate. I recommend a 200 Vari Kennel or equivalent (approximate cost $60.00)
• Flexi lead (extends to 16 for dogs up to 44 pounds) If you have children who will be using this, try to get one with a Velcro wrist grip.
• Collar I recommend nylon webbing one that is adjustable, so it can grow with your puppy. Purchase one that will fit a 10" neck as the smallest size.
• A lead (6" is plenty long enough, 4 would also be just fine) to go with collar, for when you dont need a Flexi lead.
• Some toys and Choo Hooves.
• Baby gate, if you are intending to keep puppy restricted to certain areas

 NOW YOU HAVE YOUR PUPPY HOME:

Your puppy is currently on 3 meals a day (7am, 1pm, 7pm)

He is fed Pro Plan Puppy.

Always have fresh cool water available.

Set up his crate and put a towel or blanket in it. If you have a playpen for your puppy, put his crate in there with the door open and paper the remainder of the pen. Put his water bowl near the crate, or if you get a hanging bowl, hang near crate. Put crate on the opposite side of pen to where the in/out access is. This will enable the puppy to get as far away from his bed as possible, if he has to soil his pen.

 A vaccination record will be supplied for you puppy, you should take this to the vet, when you make your first visit.
